Sullivan Guitars - Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention

Jim Sullivan, owner of Sullivan Guitars & State Line Luthier Works invited me to participate with him at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville, TN.  The Convention was help at the Music City Sheraton and attracted fingertsyle guitarists from around the world.  Sullivan Guitars had their own room where Jim Sullivan was showing his custom handmade guitars at the convention.  I was invited to help him market his guitars.  Jim Sulivan is one of the best guitar makers in the world.  Each year at the convention Jim runs the sound on one of the two stages where the guitarists from around the world come together to play their best.  The convention attracts the best guitar makers and music companies and other music industry business.

The convention was a great success.  Jim Sullivan announced the launch of his newly created website for acoustic guitar accessories called Acoustic Guitar Corner. By the end of the convention, Jim Sullivan was able to sell all but one of his available guitars and made a big splash with his acoustic guitar accessories website, www.acousticguitarcorner.com.

For me it was great to use my face to face marketing skills in an industry that was a little less familiar to me, and it inspired me to start picking up the guitar again and work to take my guitar playing to the next level.  Thanks Jim for a great opportunity. I look forward to participating next year as well.
